The third wave: sexual freedom and homosexuality

This wave began in the nineties of the last century until 2010, aiming to address the failures of the second wave, and to confront the challenges it faces in all fields and at all levels, and the circle of activity expanded to include poor communities and young girls, and to support sexual freedom, so it adopted homosexuality, attracting its members and defending their rights In addition to women’s right to birth control, as a necessity to achieve economic independence from men, the so-called “Beijing Platform for Action” was issued during this period by the United Nations in 1995, which represents the reference for all actions required to achieve gender equality and empower women.

Fourth wave: Empowerment and empowerment

This wave appeared in 2012, after the launch of the United Nations Women in 2010, and its focus was on the issue of empowering women in all areas of life, equally with men, without discrimination between one field and another, or one level and another, in addition to achieving comprehensive change and combating discrimination.
