Following the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 95-85 win over the Utah Jazz in the NBA Salt Lake City Summer League, ESPN sideline reporter Holly Rowe created an awkwardly hilarious moment.
While conducting an interview with OKC players Jalen Williams, Jaylin Williams, Tre Mann, and Chet Holmgren, Rowe made it perfectly clear who she felt the better Williams was.
‘We dubbed you THE Jalen Williams tonight,’ Rowe enthusiastically stated before looking at Jaylin and saying ‘No offense, young man.’
Mann can be seen immediately looking up at Jaylin and Holmgren that with a facial expression that seemed to read ‘did she really just say that?’
Jaylin on the other hand looked at Holmgren to laugh off the remark, while Holmgren also had a look of shock on his face.

Rowe referred to Jalen Williams as ‘THE’ Jalen Williams, in front of his teammate Jaylin Williams
Rowe was not the first member of the game’s crew to come up with the usage of ‘the’ before which specific Williams, as that honor belonged to commentator Thurl Bailey.
It is also worth pointing out that Jaylin Williams goes by Jay Will, and Jalen Williams goes by J-Dub.
During the game itself Jalen Williams seemed to pick things off where he left off at the end of his impressive rookie season, by recording 21 points, four rebounds and two assists.
His counterpart Jaylin Williams recorded eight points, 13 rebounds, and three assists.
Mann and Holmgren also put-up impressive numbers in the winning finishing with stat lines of 20,7,&3, and 15,9,&2 respectively.
