Name a star from the world of sport in 2023, and you can almost guarantee they graced the red carpet at the ESPY Awards on Wednesday night.
From Patrick Mahomes and Kyrie Irving – two men at the very top of their craft – to the up-and-coming Cavinder Twins and Olivia Dunne, it was sport’s time to shine at the annual event at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
The award ceremony celebrates ‘excellence in sports performance’, but also gives those usually drenched in sweat on a field or court the chance to dress up and show off their style – and that’s exactly what they did.
Kansas City Chiefs star Mahomes was accompanied by his wife Brittany on the day after his starring role in Netflix show Quarterback was released to the masses, while the ever-stylish Travis Kelce presented an award wearing a dapper white shirt and suit jacket.
LSU gymnast Dunne, who has shot to fame over the last 12 months on social media, stunned in a black dress, while the March Madness superstar Cavinder Twins posed together on the red carpet.

For one NFL star, meanwhile, getting dressed won’t have taken too long… because he appeared to have forgotten his shirt.
Step forward Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins, who stole the headlines and took an opportunity to show off his tattooed chest, forgoing one of the main parts of his outfit and instead just wearing pants and a suit jacket.
Elsewhere, Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios was accompanied by his stunning new girlfriend Alex Earle, with the pair seemingly confirming their relationship by arriving arm-in-arm in Hollywood.
Berrios was previously dating Sophia Culpo, before the pair’s high-profile split.
