Cleveland has had an interesting and, to some extent, bumpy summer. There was talk of the possible exit via transfer of Collin Sexton, once again the name of Kevin Love appeared in rumors, they signed an extension of 100 million dollars to Jarrett Allen … Yes, they have made several changes and bets, but what we have not seen is that they close a great transfer giving way to some emerging boys – it seems that it will continue to be like that.
As reportedChris Stink of Cleveland.comThe Ohio organization does not have untouchables on its roster, but those who come closest to that appreciation are rookie Evan Mobley and Darius Garland. Although we do not know if the Cavs are immersed in any negotiation, in which case, those would be the last two players that they would always put on the board.
From this information it is surprising that Collin Sexton is so available in case a suitable deal is found. At 22, he comes from signing 24.3 points and 4.4 assists on average. His numbers are eloquent, but there are not few journalists who have pointed out that he has not generated a good atmosphere with his colleagues.
As for the future of the aforementioned, perhaps it could change if the one who ends up shooting is Ben Simmons. Cleveland is one of the teams that has maintained contact with Philadelphia, but so far nothing has forged. If the All-Star maintains their decision not to attend training camp, and their value is on the decline, perhaps there will be an opportunity and they will make the effort to release Garland or Mobley, but they certainly seem clear that they would prefer the package to lead it. Sexton.
