- He remains in a serious condition in hospital, mother said to be distraught
A child has been rushed to hospital after falling from a window onto concrete below.
The boy, four, suffered suspected head, neck and spinal injuries in Sylvania, in Sydney’s south, about 8pm on Thursday.
Intensive care paramedics travelled with the child to the Sydney Children’s Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

It is understood the child fell through a window (pictured above) onto the concrete below at an address in Sylvania, in Sydney’s south
The child’s mother was distraught at the scene, breaking down after her son was transported away in an ambulance.
A spokesperson from NSW Ambulance media told Daily Mail Australia the window was at ground floor level.
‘An ambulance was called just after 8pm and the child was then taken to the Sydney Children’s Hospital,’ he said.
According to the spokesperson, the boy’s condition is not believed to be critical at this stage.
