Russian experts considered that “demonizing Russia” benefits the American political circles that seek to achieve their interests by accusing Russia of interfering in the American elections.
Nikita Daniuk, deputy director of the Institute for Strategic Studies and Prospects at the University of Peoples’ Friendship and a member of the Russian General Council, told RT, “The issue of Russia’s interference in the elections is technologically ideal, as nothing should be proven to anyone, and the American public opinion is in a state of fueling at all.” .
He added, “The Democrats are showing once again that the Russians are” bad “and are interfering in the elections and that the sanctions against them should be expanded … and they (the Democrats) seek to discredit their opponents, and above all, Donald Trump.”
For his part, Professor Gregory Yarygin, a professor in the American Studies Office at the Russian Petersburg State University, considered that the US intelligence report is politicized and expected.

He said, “The demonization of Russia continues, and it is useful not only for political circles, but for experts who know well about Russian-American relations, as Russia represents an understandable and comfortable model for the image of” threat “for the American policy consumer, and this picture is presented to ordinary citizens as well.
“Politicians continue to use this agenda to explain the internal crises that the elections have revealed,” he added.
This came as a comment on the US intelligence report that accused Russia and some other countries of interfering in the US elections.
According to the report, Russia sought to “discredit” Democratic candidate Joe Biden during the election campaign in support of his Republican rival, Donald Trump.
