A fan has reportedly been arrested at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center Thursday night after throwing a cup in the direction of Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic.
With 1:40 seconds remaining in overtime, one spectator involved himself in the action, launching a plastic cup onto the floor, splattering near the Slovenian sensation.
According to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps, the perpetrator who reportedly threw a cup of ice has since been arrested.
Doncic appeared to be initially startled as the cup broke behind him in between the midcourt and three-point arc.
But it did little to slow down the Doncic-powered Mavericks who held on to defeat a struggling Nets team.
Doncic was the star of Thursday night’s show inside the Barclays, totaling 41 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds for his first triple-double of the season.
