‘He blew it out of proportion’: Fan who was ejected for making ‘threatening’ comments to Draymond Green DENIES the accusations, claiming he was instead telling the Warriors star he has ‘a pass’ for punching Jordan Poole
The fan who was ejected from the Golden State Warriors’ loss to Milwaukee for allegedly making death threats to Draymond Green has responded, denying the accusations.Â
During the third quarter of Tuesday’s game, four-time All-Star Green began engaging in a heated conversation with the fan while Giannis Antetokounmpo took a foul shot.Â
The gentleman now identified as R&B singer, Mike Shane, has detailed his version of events.
Draymond Green went to the referee and ordered Shane be ejected from the arena Tuesday
Speaking on the KJ Live podcast, Shane said he was merely jawing with the Warriors forward, suggesting Milwaukee’s fans were giving him ‘a pass.’
Green was heard screaming ‘what’s the pass’ repeatedly at the free throw line during his interaction with Shane, before finishing with ‘explain yourself if you want to be heard n****.’
Shane told the podcast he was ‘speaking up for the city of Milwaukee’ in response to his devastating knockout of teammate and Milwaukee native, Jordan Poole.Â
Shane said. ‘Basically telling him, like, “we’re giving you a pass. We haven’t forgotten about what you did — a big bully — and we’re giving you a pass.”
‘He blew it out of proportion, actually. I don’t know how he can take that as a threat.Â

‘We forgive you, but we haven’t forgot,’ Shane remarked, by way of explaining what he told Green.Â
The night ended prematurely for the R&B singer, who was promptly ejected following his heated interaction with the four-time NBA champion in the third quarter.Â
Dailymail.com has not yet received a response from the Bucks regarding further comments on the matter, though following the incident the organization said: ‘Ejecting the fan was under the referee’s discretion. We are investigating the situation and conferring with the NBA.’Â
Following the Warriors’ loss, Green explained his version of events to the team’s beat reporters. ‘Uh some threatening stuff to my life,’ Green began, explaining what he had heard.Â
‘So you know, I was this close (as he held his fingers close together) to diving back and like diving all the way in.
‘But just went back and told the official. And when I told the official what he said, he was like “oh, he got to get out of here.” Then he gotta get out of here.’Â
