A lady died whilst browsing at a California seashore the day soon after graduating from nursing faculty, according to her household.
Witnesses reported they saw Martina Marie Scarfia, 25, of Eureka browsing with another female at Moonstone Seashore on Sunday, May 14, when she fell from her surfboard and “was get over by waves,” the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office environment reported in a May 15 information launch.
Deputies explained a beachgoer “swam out to rescue Scarfia.”
The U.S. Coast Guard took her to a clinic, where by she later died, the sheriff’s business mentioned.
Scarfia graduated from the College of the Redwoods nursing application the day prior, her sister, Asia Autumn Scarfia-Ward, told the Dropped Coastline Outpost.
“I am so happy of every little thing she has done and the awesome particular person she has become,” Scarfia-Ward wrote on Facebook. “We celebrated as a loved ones and paddled out together a person final time right until paradise.”
