The Phoenix Suns of Monty Williams reaped their fifth victory in a row last morning when they prevailed in the Kings’ pavilion by a tight 109-104. Devin Booker led the pack with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals, including an 8 of 17 shooting from the field.
With this triumph, the Arizonans go up positions in the table and are placed with a 6-3 in the West. However, it was not a pleasant road for them, as they squandered an income of up to 21 points in the fourth quarter.
“The second unit has to do a better job to maintain the result. They expect the headlines to come in and save us at that moment, and it is not an easy task. We gave them a lot of momentum with our turnovers. We were able to make enough plays to win the game, but it was a pretty tough situation, ”explained a visibly upset Monty Williams.
Only Cameron Payne fulfilled his second unit, with 24 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists to his credit. The rest was quite restrained; especially a Cameron Johnson (2 points) from whom much more is expected.

Of the Kings, Harrison Barnes stood out with 26 points and 6 rebounds, including a perfect 11/11 from the personnel line; and De’Aaron Fox with 24 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Kings starred in a third period to forget with a negative 12-31; however, they never lowered their arms and reached the final stage with options, lowering the difference to only three points (107-104).
