Final Update, 9:40 p.m.: The 10-vehicle pile-up crash on Summit County Road 53 near Breckenridge has been cleared, and Interstate 70 remains open in both directions as of 9:40 p.m. Thursday.
Dillon Dam Road and U.S. Highway 6 over Loveland Pass were closed as of 9:40 p.m.
A winter weather advisory is in effect until 8 a.m. Friday, with up to a foot of accumulation possible.

9:14 p.m.: Interstate 70 eastbound between Exit 203 at Frisco and Exit 205 at Silverthorne has reopened to traffic, according to CoTrip.org.
8:50 p.m.: Interstate 70 westbound has reopened, but the eastbound lanes of the interstate are still closed for safety concerns.
8 p.m.: Summit County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Mike Schilling said while Swan Mountain Road is open, there are slide-offs and multiple small accidents. Law enforcement is on scene, and traffic is moving slowly.
Interstate 70 westbound is closed at the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnels, according to COTrip.org. I-70 eastbound is also closed between Exit 203 to Frisco and Exit 205 to Silverthorne.
Dillon Dam Road is closed.
Swan Mountain Road is the only way to travel from Silverthorne and Dillon to Frisco or Breckenridge.
Cars involved in a 10-car pile-up on Summit County Road 503 near Breckenridge are being pulled out. The road remains closed from High Point Drive to Boreas Pass Road.
7:45 p.m.: A 10-car pile-up has shut down Summit County Road 503 near Breckenridge. The closure begins near the intersection of Moonstone Road and High Point Drive, while the other side of the closure is near the intersection of Boreas Pass Road and Summit County Road 503.
6:55 p.m.: I-70 westbound is closed at the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnels, according to COTrip.org. I-70 eastbound is also closed between Exit 203 to Frisco and Exit 205 to Silverthorne.
Swan Mountain Road remained open as of 6:50 p.m.
6:45 p.m.: Dillon Dam Road is closed.
There is standstill traffic on Colorado Highway 9 between Silverthorne and Dillon with vehicles sitting on the I-70 westbound onramp at Exit 205 to Silverthorne. Traffic is also at a standstill on I-70 eastbound at Exit 205 heading into Silverthorne.
While COTrip.org doesn’t show an official closure, traffic cameras show no vehicles on westbound I-70 between Exit 205 to Silverthorne and Exit 203 to Frisco.
Original story 6 p.m.: Traffic is building up in and around Summit County as falling snow causes poor road conditions and visibility Thursday night.
Despite no official closures reported by the Colorado Department of Transportation, westbound traffic on Interstate 70 appears to be stopped just east of the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnel.
Additionally, eastbound traffic is slow and backed up between Frisco and Silverthorne.
U.S. Highway 6 over Loveland Pass is closed, and eastbound lanes of Vail Pass were closed for about two hours earlier in the afternoon.
