FINSUS obtains the Financial Inclusion Award for Fintech-Americas

Due to its actions and strategies carried out to promote access to digital financial services, FINSUS was awarded by Fintech-Americas with the Silver Country Award for Financial Inclusion.

Through its 100 percent digital mobile application, FINSUS has promoted the democratization, inclusion, and accessibility of financial services with a responsible approach.

“We are creating a digital financial ecosystem focused on improving the financial health of our clients,” said Carlos Marmolejo, CEO of FINSUS, who also highlighted the importance of breaking paradigms for the digital transformation of the financial sector.

Over the past eight years, Fintech Americas’ Financial Innovators Awards have recognized the most innovative banks and financial players in Latin America and the Caribbean. The selection has been made in a highly competitive field that included more than 200 proposals throughout the region.

The awards seek to identify, highlight, and promote the teams and projects that are transforming finance in the region so that it is more agile, efficient and inclusive.

FINSUS stood out among various banking institutions and the Fintech world at an international level, for which it was recognized for its commitment to promote access to formal financial services through its digital platform at the ceremony held during the Fintech Americas Conference Miami 2023on May 4th.

“Through digitization and innovation, products are being revolutionized to meet the different needs of customers and help people improve their living standards through access to world-class financial services,” said the CEO of Finsus.

On the other hand, Marmolejo highlighted the multiple advantages of the FINSUS digital platform, including credits, savings accounts without charging commission, investments with high returns, free life insurance that encourages savings, access to personalized products and services, ” all from the comfort of your cell phone and no matter where you are in Mexico.”

FINSUS is a Popular Financial Society (SOFIPO) authorized and regulated by the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), with a national presence. It is currently the second largest SOFIPO by amount managed.

Other Mexican banking entities were also recognized at the event with the Country Award: Banco Azteca: Blockchain Bank category; Santander: channel innovation category; Banorte: strategic innovation category and BanBajío: strategic innovation category.
