(Trends Wide) — Five people have died after an apparent shooting suicide that took place at a church in Sacramento, California, on Monday night.
A father walked into a local church in the Arden-Arcade neighborhood and shot three of his children before turning the gun on himself in an apparent domestic violence incident, Sacramento Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Rod Grassman said in a statement. Press conference.
All three children were under 15 years of age.
A fifth person was also shot and killed. Authorities cannot determine at this time if the fifth victim was related to the shooter or the children.
