For the first time since the beginning of the Corona pandemic, the World Health Organization has recorded more than 15,000 deaths from the emerging virus within 24 hours.
The United Nations organization confirmed on its website on Saturday that the death toll from the “Covid-19” disease caused by Corona in the world increased during the past 24 hours by 15,454 deaths, compared to 14,307 deaths the previous day.
The largest of these 4,176 deaths, according to the United Nations’ data, are due to the United States.
During the last day, the organization detected 799,712 new cases of coronavirus, more than a third of them (277,195) were recorded in the United States alone.
The total number of corona virus victims in the world, according to the statistics of the United Nations, has reached 87 million and 589,206 confirmed infections, including one million and 906,606 deaths.
