Epic Games has resolved a widespread login outage that prevented players from accessing Fortnite and other popular titles for several hours on Tuesday evening.
The service disruption began around 6:39 PM ET, with the company first acknowledging connectivity problems. During the outage, players across multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch and PlayStation, reported receiving error messages when attempting to sign in. The issue also affected competitive events, with streamers in scheduled tournaments unable to log in or join matches.
The connectivity problems extended beyond Fortnite, impacting other major titles such as Rocket League and Fall Guys. Epic confirmed it was investigating login errors for all games utilizing its Epic Online Services platform.
By 8:54 PM ET, the company announced that the outage was fully resolved. “All players are able to log-in again across all platforms,” Epic stated in an update. “We’ll continue monitoring our services to ensure there are no other issues.”
