The Charlotte Hornets have announced that LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier, Mason Plumlee and Jalen McDaniels have entered NBA health and safety protocols.
As established by the internal regulations of the competition, the four players will be absent for a period of at least ten days unless they return two negative tests for COVID-19 within a period of 24 hours.
The franchise receives this news at a very delicate moment. Despite currently occupying the seventh position in the Eastern Conference, they have three consecutive defeats. And in the next games they will face demanding opponents such as the Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers and Dallas Mavericks.
Thus, the Hornets lose three components of the starting five, who registered, in a combined way, numbers of 44.5 points, 18.5 rebounds and 14.7 assists per game.
