Four teenage girls are among a group of ‘sex slaves’ rescued from a vile ring accused of drugging young women, tattooing them as ‘property’ and forcing them into prostitution

At least four teen girls and young women have been freed from sexual servitude after police raids in Brisbane.
Queensland police have arrested and charged a 35-year-old man and 23-year-old woman after the females were freed during the raids in East Brisbane and Mount Gravatt on Thursday.
Officers allege the pair held the females aged between 17 and 24 in servitude and forced them into unlawful prostitution.
They’re are accused of giving the females stupefying drugs and subjecting them to controlled living, financial and work conditions.
The captives were also tattooed as being the man’s property.
Police allegedly found drugs and covert recordings of the females engaged in sexual acts with male clients at the properties.
Detective Inspector Juliet Hancock said the operation had been underway since October and were still investigating.
‘The women are now safe thanks to the information from members of the public and the diligence of our officers,’ she said in a statement.
‘We believe there are other victims who have been exploited by the man and I encourage them to come forward and contact police.
‘Police are working with community service providers to offer the victims any care and support they may seek.’
The man has been charged with 10 offences, including conducting a business involving servitude, conducting a business of unlawful prostitution, possessing drugs and tainted property and breaching privacy.
The woman has been charged with three offences, including conducting a business involving servitude.
Both are being held by police and are due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
