France records 20,262 new cases of coronavirus, and 159 deaths

The French Ministry of Health data showed that 20,262 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus and 159 hospital deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours, amid increasing fears of a new wave of the virus in the second largest economy in the euro area.

This brought the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 disease to two million and 547771 cases, while the number of deaths reached 62,427, the seventh largest number in the world..
