On Friday, the French health authorities announced that they had recorded 25,207 new infections with the Coronavirus in the past twenty-four hours, compared with 24,116 cases on Thursday.
The Ministry of Health also recorded 286 new deaths from the virus, compared to 261 the previous day.

Last Wednesday, the Ministry announced the registration of 31518 new cases of Coronavirus during the last 24 hours, which is the largest daily increase since mid-November.
France decided to take additional measures in the northern city of Dunkirk to limit the further spread of the Corona virus there.
In a statement, the French Prime Minister’s Office stated that Minister of Health Olivier Ferrand will travel to Dunkirk, at a time when the government is looking for new measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus in the region.
