Paris in the time of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Today, Thursday, the French health authorities announced that they had recorded 22,501 cases and 271 new deaths from the Corona virus, which causes “Covid-19”, in a decline for both indicators compared with the data on Wednesday.
The French General Administration of Health Affairs stated, in a new statistic, that the number of registered infections with the new Corona virus “Covid-19” increased during the past 24 hours by 22,501, compared with 25018 Wednesday, to reach the level of 3536648 cases.
The administration added that the health authorities monitored 271 deaths from the Corona virus in the country’s hospitals, compared to 310 on Wednesday, bringing the general number of pandemic victims to 83,393 dead, including 59,159 in hospitals and 24,234 in homes for the elderly.
France is the sixth country in the world in terms of the number of recorded infections with the Coronavirus and the 7th in terms of the death toll from the pandemic.
