French Health Minister Olivier Ferrand said today, Wednesday, that the French government is ready to take tougher measures if the current restrictions to limit the spread of the Corona virus fail.
Veran said that “these measures can help reverse the trend … If this does not happen, we will take more stringent measures,” noting that “we still have a few difficult weeks.”
French President Emmanuel Macron had expected that his country would go through what he described as a “difficult period” in combating the Corona pandemic, until mid-April.
While French Prime Minister Jean Castex announced that France is going through a third wave of the Corona virus epidemic.
