Rosalía Showcased in Frank Ocean’s New Homer Jewelry Campaign
Frank Ocean has enlisted Spanish musician and longtime friend Rosalía to be the face of the new “Frankenstein-Cord” collection from his luxury jewelry brand, Homer. The collection is now available at Homer’s New York flagship, as well as its newly opened locations in Los Angeles and London.
A promotional video showcases Rosalía wearing the “2 Livers With Bullet Holes” high-jewelry necklace, priced at $695,000. Other pieces in the collection include the Bullet Hole Heart Pendant, the 2 Livers with Bullet Holes High Jewelry Stud Earring, and the Triple Heart Belt.
Founded by Ocean in 2018, Homer launched commercially in 2021, offering high-end jewelry and silk scarves. The campaign reunites Ocean and Rosalía, who previously collaborated on the unreleased 2020 track “Changes,” which was leaked online in 2023.
Kylie Jenner to Star in Miu Miu’s Fall/Winter 2024 Campaign
Kylie Jenner is the face of Miu Miu’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2024 “Femininities” campaign. Set to launch on July 21, the campaign, conceived by Miuccia Prada, explores themes of modern femininity and individuality.
Jenner will be joined by a diverse cast including actress and singer Lou Doillon, actress and model Rila Fukushima, musician Towa Bird, actress Myha’la, artist and model Yura Romaniuk, and rapper Cortisa Star.
Timothée Chalamet Announces Unexpected Partnership with Cash App
In a surprising move, award-winning actor Timothée Chalamet has partnered with financial services platform Cash App. The collaboration marks the first of its kind for the Cartier and Chanel brand ambassador.
“Financial literacy across all age groups is important and this spot seeks to emphasize that,” Chalamet explained in a statement. The campaign includes a two-minute cinematic commercial, advertisements across New York and Los Angeles, and limited-edition Cash App Card designs. The short film depicts Chalamet visiting a store that only accepts antiquated forms of payment, such as iron ingots and cowrie shells, before a younger character, played by Izaac Wang, introduces the modern convenience of Cash App.
Jil Sander Debuts “Wanderlust” EP and Music Video
Jil Sander’s new creative director, Simone Bellotti, is marking his debut with “Wanderlust,” a conceptual project that merges fashion with music and film. The brand collaborated with Italian electronic musician Bochum Welt on the accompanying soundscape.
Released on July 16, the music video was filmed in Hamburg, Germany, and features local residents and cityscapes, including the U-Bahn transit system. A vinyl version of the EP will be available at select Jil Sander boutiques and online starting in August.
