On the other hand, Argentine Kevin Benavides (Honda) won the Dakar race in the motorcycle category on Friday, at the end of the last 12th stage between Yanbu and Jeddah, which was scored by American Ricky Brabec (Honda), the 2020 champion.
In the overall standings, Benavides is ahead of Brabec by 4:56 and 15:57 over Britain’s Sam Sunderland (KTM), who scored Thursday’s penultimate stage.
