Jay Slater’s best friend has posted another heart wrenching tribute to the teenager ahead of his funeral tomorrow.
Lucy Mae Law shared the short video to her Instagram story of the carefree 19-year-old bopping away at pool rave, captioned ‘always dancing’.
His family and friend are preparing to give him one final send off this weekend at Accrington Cemetery Chapel, in a ‘celebration of life’ where they have asked people to wear something blue in his memory.
A post-mortem examination last week revealed that Jay had died from ‘traumatic head injuries, consistent with a fall from height’, which likely killed him ‘instantly’.
It is also understood that an inquest into his death has now been opened in Jay’s home county of Lancashire.

Lucy was the first person to alert authorities to Jay disappearance after he failed to return home to their Airbnb in Los Cristianos the next morning.
It ignited an international search, that would continue for over a month and cause widespread speculation and misinformation that circulated online.
It eventually forced authorities to falsely call off the search after two weeks, so they could keep working without the glare of the media on them.
Jay’s final resting place was eventually discovered by a Dutch search team sent to the Spanish holiday island to find his body after after a month long manhunt had turned up nothing.
The bricklayer’s body has since been repatriated to the UK, and his funeral is set to take place this weekend on August 10 at Accrington Cemetery Chapel from 10.30am.
The family have asked that instead of bringing flowers to the ceremony, to donate to LBT Global, the overseas crisis support charity who helped Jay’s mother during the search for her son.

Blue and silver balloons including a ’19’ display were released into the skies above the church as dozens of people – young and old – filed into West End Methodist Church for a memorial service
They said: ‘A loving son of Debbie and Warren, a cherished brother of Zak and brother-in-law of Jessica, a treasured grandson of Dawn, June and the late Dougie, a much-loved nephew of Glen and Katie, a dear cousin of Maddie and Tillie and a loyal friend to many. Jay will be very sadly missed by all those who knew him.’
‘After Jay left Rhyddings High School he went on to become an apprentice bricklayer with the PH Build group, a job he greatly enjoyed. At the young age of five Jay started playing football for Huncoat United FC until the age of 17 and also did a few seasons with the Sunday team at St Joseph’s too.
‘He also loved spending time chilling out with his friends. Jay’s love of music and dance started at a very young age. He loved attending music festivals and events across the country and also loved to socialise and meet new people.’
This comes after ‘vile trolls’ and scammers have tried to target the funeral by claiming it will be live streamed, in a bid to make money off the teenager’s tragic death.
LBT Global say they have been inundated with reports of these scams which have been popping up online.
Scammers claim to have a live stream link to Jay’s funeral and are reportedly offering to send viewers this link for a fee, the charity said.
In an earlier tribute Lucy said: ‘Honestly lost for words Always the happiest and most smiley person in the room, you was one of a kind Jay’

Chief Executive Matthew Searle, from LBT Global, told The Sun: ‘We are inundated with reports of these scams, and as fast as we can get the platforms to remove them, more appear.
‘To be completely clear – there is no live stream of Jay’s funeral, and anyone claiming to offer one is a scam.’
‘As much as being hurtful and deeply unrespectful, this is taking vital donations away from a small charity.
‘We ask that anyone seeing one of these pages reports it to the platform. Please don’t follow them or send them money.
‘It is so typical of the vile trolling this family have received for them to target something so special as a funeral.’
Jay’s family have strongly denied any footage of the funeral will be available online.
