Finally, a reduction in the national average price for consumers of regular and Premium gasoline was achieved in September -although much lower than the reference price in the United States-, according to the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE).
The national average price of regular gasoline for consumers in Mexico finally achieved a monthly reduction of 1.08% in September, when it stood at 21.69 pesos per liter, after registering its highest levels in history since May. But the annual rise of this price is 7.46%.
Premium gasoline also showed a slight reduction in the national average of consumer prices, standing at 23.97 pesos per liter in September, which is only two cents or 0.08% less than the price in August.
In September, diesel stood at 23.57 pesos per liter, with a slight monthly increase in the national average price of 0.17 percent. But in the annual comparison, the increase was 8.49%.
