The war waged by Israel on the Gaza Strip about a month ago forced the search for alternative means to meet the demands of life and overcome the harsh conditions imposed by the current situation.
For example, but not limited to, the residents of Gaza were forced to go back decades and use clay ovens to make bread after the cuts of fuel and electricity. Because Israel was prevented from accessing the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression.
Palestinian activist Ayat Khaddura shared, on her Instagram account yesterday, Saturday, a video clip explaining how they adapted to the new situation in Gaza, preparing the dough and then sending it to one of their neighbors who baked on clay.
The lenses of photographers and journalists in Gaza also documented another aspect of the suffering experienced by the people, due to the exhaustion of fuel and the prevention of the entry of fuel, as buggies became the available refuge for transporting the injured and martyrs.
One of the shots showed a picture of a martyr in western Khan Yunis being carried on a cart pulled by a donkey, while another showed a large truck transporting goods, which was forced to work in transporting the injured and martyrs, due to the inability of ambulances and honoring the dead to do so.
Animal vehicles have also become a means of transportation for neighborhoods, as one of the photographers from inside Beit Hanoun, north of Gaza, transferred his journey with the photographers on one of them to go to their place of work.
In light of the shortage of electricity and fuel in hospitals, doctors resorted to performing surgical operations on the injured using the light of a mobile phone, as shown by the scenes spread on social media platforms.

In the Deir al-Balah area in the central Gaza Strip, residents resort to places that rely on solar energy. They charge phones, light bulbs, or vaporizers and oxygen devices for patients, taking advantage of solar panels.
Another video clip showed a number of Gazan children celebrating the birthday of baby Sarah, as they gathered around cups of milk tea, instead of the traditional celebrations. Such as: cake and candles, while chanting the song “Happy New Year, Beautiful”.
