Basilashvili crowned his wonderful career in Doha, especially his removal of former world number one Roger Federer from the quarter-finals before overthrowing American Taylor Fritz in the Golden Square, to win the fourth title in his career after the 2018 and 2019 tournaments of Hamburg and China Open in 2018.
