The German Interior Minister announced on Thursday that Germany has banned, as of yesterday, Wednesday, the activities of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) as well as the Samidoun prisoner defense network that supports the Palestinians.
“With regard to Hamas, today I completely prohibited the activities of a terrorist organization whose goal is to destroy the State of Israel,” Minister Nancy Vizer said in a statement.
It is noteworthy that Hamas is already listed on the lists of terrorist organizations in Germany.
The minister added that the German branch of the Samidoun network would also be dissolved, justifying this by saying that this international network works under the guise of a solidarity group with prisoners to spread anti-Israel and anti-Semitic propaganda, she said.
