For a limited time, shoppers can snag the Dyson V8 Absolute Pro for $329.99, which is down $120 from its retail price of $449.99. While we haven’t tried this advanced model out first-hand, the regular V8 Absolute ($449.99) certainly lived up to our expectations in terms of quality and performance. Described as “one heck of a vacuum” by our testers, we were thrilled by the amount of included attachments it came with, including a crevice tool, a soft dusting brush and a powered brush head for hardwood floors, as well as its impressive general functionality.
Despite its light weight (5.6 pounds), this cordless cleaner managed to pick up 88 percent of the dirt we laid out for it—an astounding performance, considering other models only achieved as much as 45 percent. Its brush head, meanwhile, which is made from carbon fiber and nylon, was pleasantly soft. In terms of battery life, it lasted a whopping 40 minutes on the lowest setting (though it only ran for seven minutes on the highest one), and we liked how easy it was to empty the dustbin: All you have to do is pull a lever at the top of the machine and it’ll automatically release the dirt inside.
This Pro model features many of these same attributes we loved about the regular V8 Absolute. You’ll get all the same attachments and the 40-minute battery life (this according to the company). The dust bin also functions nearly identically as the regular . In fact, the only difference we were able to readily spot was an upgraded whole machine filtration system for the on-sale Pro.
In addition to this awesome price drop, you’ll also get a two-year limited manufacturer’s warranty. You’ll want to act quickly, however, as there’s no telling how long this deal will last!
