Global health: Rare cases of blood clotting have been reported after vaccination and it is not confirmed that they are caused by the vaccine

The World Health Organization (WHO) reported today, Friday, that “very rare and unique cases” of blood clotting after vaccination have been reported, but “it is not certain that they are caused by vaccines.”

The WHO Vaccine Safety Committee stated that the available data do not indicate any general increase in cases of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism after receiving vaccines.
