Roma player Nicolo Zaniolo escaped a penalty for what he did during his team’s last match against Lazio in the sixth round of the Italian League.
And the Italian newspaper “Corriere dello Sport” revealed in its report today that the player will not be suspended because of the gesture that was made at the end of last Sunday’s derby, and the matter was limited to a fine of ten thousand euros to the Giallorossi player.
The newspaper added that, accordingly, the player will be available for the last Roma match before the international break against Empoli on Sunday, October 3, in the seventh round of the Italian League, and Roma is preparing to play the next match against Zorya on Thursday in the second round of the European Conference League.
Lazio had settled the derby of the Italian capital, by defeating its neighbor, Roma, 3-2, in an exciting match that brought the two teams together, at the “Olympico” stadium, in the sixth round of the Italian League championship for the current season 2021/22.
And the “Opta” network, which specializes in monitoring statistics, stated that Mourinho is the first coach to lead the Roma team, and lose his first game in the derby since Luis Enrique in 2011.
