Government of Sinaloa joins Teletón to achieve the collection goal: Rocha

• The state president stressed that, if the goal is met, two centers will be installed in Mazatlan, one for disabled children and another to treat autism.
• This year’s goal is 387,733,461 pesos.

Culiacán, Sinaloa, December 12, 2022.- Governor Rubén Rocha Moya reported this Monday at his Weekly Conference that his government will contribute to the Teletón Foundation to seek compliance with the collection that will take place this year from December 12 to 17. December in order to help all girls and boys who need special care and treatment for optimal development of their lives.

Rocha indicated that, if the goal is met, two centers will be installed for the help of infants, which will be for the rehabilitation of girls and boys with disabilities and the other will treat autism, since the installation of these is very important to reinforce those that They already have in Culiacán.

“There are two centers, we have opted for that format that would obviously be less large than if we had opted for just one, for example, we were given the option one in rehabilitation with a certain capacity; another autism alone or both and the care capacities for girls and boys are established. We have already spoken briefly with the Teletón Foundation, we have been allowed to say what we are saying, that if the goal is reached in 2022 Sinaloa will have these two centers in Mazatlán. For the people of Sinaloa, it is very important, we already have rehabilitation centers here in Culiacán, in Mazatlán, we have the autism center here in Culiacán that we are going to reinforce,” he said.

He explained that it is of great interest to highlight that the Sinaloa government has a fundamental humanist banner for the care of people with disabilities, as he recalled that his government is the first in the country to have a universal pension for all disabled people.

He explained that part of the work that the specialists would have in these Mazatlan centers will not only be directly, but also work in the social environment such as visiting communities, holding talks for people and giving individual treatment to children.

He reiterated that his government will continue to have as a priority the care and improvement of the lives of people with disabilities, so they will contribute to the collection that begins today.

“Here the great importance for the treatment, both girls and boys with disabilities, as well as children with autism, what is it, first that specialists treat them in a very important way, not only directly, but that the specialists who are here will have to have a I work in the social environment where the center is located, visit communities, give talks to people and that is an environment that is incorporated into the individual treatment of children. The very important thing is that the constancy in the treatment, we are also going to review that here with our rehabilitation centers ”, he added.

In the place, the Secretary General of the Government Enrique Inzunza Cázarez, the Secretary of SEMUJERES María Teresa Guerra Ochoa and the rector of UNIPOL Óscar González Mendívil, who accompanied Governor Rocha in his Weekly Conference, contributed to this noble cause by making a symbolic contribution to the support of the fulfillment of the goal of this 2022.
