Governor Rocha delivers support to victims in Los Mezcales

• Sistema DIF Sinaloa made immediate delivery of support in kind.

Culiacán, Sinaloa, August 30, 2022.- Derived from the heavy rains that are occurring throughout the state, especially in the central area of ​​the state, Governor Rubén Rocha Moya went to supervise the delivery of support to the affected neighbors from the Los Mezcales neighborhood, accompanied by Héctor Modesto Félix Carrillo, Director of the State Institute of Civil Protection, Eneyda Rocha Ruiz, President of the DIF Sinaloa System and Juan de Dios Gámez, Mayor of Culiacán.

Rocha Moya explained that 120 families were benefited in this sector, with in-kind support and a check for 5,000 pesos for each of them, urging citizens to take extreme precautions.

“The recommendation to the citizens is that they take care of themselves, that they take care of the children, the most important thing is that we take care of life, that the currents, the material, are not going to drag them, we are going to support them. Here to Los Mezcales right now We are going to start giving them support, Juan de Dios, the President and yours truly,” said the Governor.

The President of the DIF Sinaloa System specified that the support in kind consists of sheets, pantries, mats and tabletop stoves, highlighting that everything will be delivered today so that those affected can immediately have the help they require.
