The Minister of Health in Guinea, Mohamed Lamine Yansan, announced that his country is currently in talks with Russia to obtain 400 thousand doses of the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine.

Today, Thursday, the minister said that his country expects the Russian vaccine to reach it by the end of February.
Russia previously provided 60 doses of its “Sputnik V” vaccine to the West African country on an experimental basis. The President of Guinea, Alpha Conde, and a number of his ministers were among those vaccinated with this vaccine.
