The authorities of Niger State in Nigeria announced a new incident of mass kidnapping of students by armed men.
Reuters quoted a spokeswoman for the state governor as confirming that the attackers attacked a secondary school without revealing the number of children abducted, while local residents of the state said that the attack targeted at about two o’clock last night, the Government Science College in the Cagara region, and the guards of the institution did not succeed Educational response to aggressors.
The news agency “Agence France Presse” security sources confirmed that hundreds of children were kidnapped by the attackers.
It is not clear who is responsible for the attack, especially since several militant groups operating in northern Nigeria use the method of kidnapping, including “Boko Haram” and the local branch of “ISIS”.
