The Secretary-General of the United Nations, during his meeting with the Prime Minister-designate of Libya, Abdel-Hamid Dabaiba and the President of the Presidential Council, Muhammad Al-Manfi, reiterated the need for the exit of foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya.
Stefan Dujarric, spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, said that the latter “spoke separately with the President of the Presidential Council, Muhammad Al-Exiled, and with the Prime Minister-designate, Abdelhamid Dabaiba.”
The spokesman added in a press conference that “the Secretary-General confirmed during the talks the United Nations’ readiness to support the elections in Libya and monitor the ceasefire,” stressing the need for the withdrawal of all foreign forces.
