Norwegian striker Erling Haaland led Borussia Dortmund to a 3-2 victory over Paderborn and qualify for the German Cup quarter-finals, after scoring the decisive goal in a match between the two teams on Tuesday.
Dortmund led early with two goals from Emery Chan and Gideon Sancho, in minutes 6 and 16, respectively, before Julian Eustvan narrowed the difference in favor of Paderborn, belonging to the second division, in the 79th minute.
And when the match was breathing its last, Prince Oussi Oso, realized the equalizer for Paderborn from the penalty mark in the seventh minute of stoppage time, to send the match into extra time.
Just 5 minutes after the start of the first additional half, Haaland finished off Ahlam Paderborn, scoring the decisive goal and qualifying for his team.
