Harry Giles will preseason with the Los Angeles Clippers. As reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic, the 23-year-old insider has signed an unsecured deal with the Los Angeles franchise, in which he will fight for a spot in the roster of 15 players who will start the regular season.
The hope of Giles, a boy who was expected a lot but who has not finished finding a place in the NBA, is limited to the fact that the Angelenos currently only have 14 guaranteed contracts; In other words, they would not need to do without any player if they finally want to ensure the presence of the pivot for the 2021-22 season.
Chosen by Sacramento as number 20 in the 2017 draft, this Duke University project could not debut until 2018 due to a serious injury. Already on the track, his performance has gone from more to less until spending the 2020-21 season with the Portland Trail Blazers, where he averaged 2.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per night.
