Heavy rains destroy camps for the displaced in Idlib, Syria

On Tuesday, torrential rains flooded camps for the displaced in Idlib governorate and destroyed tents there.

Pictures taken in Batpo showed tents surrounded by ponds of water and mud, while some of its residents were seen wandering around the land that had muddy after the continuous rains since Monday.

The displaced called on humanitarian organizations to help them, while meteorologists warned that the floods might be followed by a cold wave.
