Hezbollah announced tonight that it had bombed the Kiryat Shmona settlement with missiles, while Israeli media spoke of a “difficult incident” and fears of a march infiltrating from the east.
Israeli media said that 10 missiles were monitored towards Kiryat Shmona and several towns in the Upper Galilee, northern Israel.
Amid Israeli talk about a difficult incident that has not yet been revealed, Hezbollah said tonight that it targeted a Merkava tank in the Labouneh Heights with a guided missile, which led to its burning and its crew being killed and wounded.
Hezbollah also announced earlier on Wednesday evening that it had fired missiles at the Israeli army artillery position in Delton, northern Israel.
Meanwhile, Israel Hayom newspaper spoke tonight about what it called fears of a march infiltrating the Wadi Araba area, while the Israeli army said it had detected what it described as a “suspicious air target that crossed from the east,” adding that the details are under examination.
In turn, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that it is not clear whether the march was intercepted in the Wadi Araba area or not.
Constant raids
On the other hand, intensive Israeli raids on towns in southern Lebanon and the eastern Bekaa continue, and clashes rage between Hezbollah and the Israeli army.
According to Israeli news sites, injured soldiers were transferred to Rambam Hospital in Haifa and Benelson Hospital in Tel Aviv, while the Israeli army announced that 13 of its soldiers in the north were infected within one day.
