The consortium between Argentines Hokchi Energy successfully concluded the drilling of the exploration and delimitation wells of area 31 that operates in shallow waters off the coast of Veracruz, after an investment of 52.8 million dollars, completed the works of the Xaxamani 5DEL delimitator , with which he assured that it remains one of the most important private producers in the country, in addition to the fact that today it is the private one in the country with the highest extraction of crude oil, after the results of its Hokchi field in shallow waters.
Regarding the company’s activity in the Xaxamani Evaluation Area, on the Veracruz coast, Gerardo Doria, general director of Hokchi Energy, reported that “the production test of the Xaxamani-5DEL boundary well has been satisfactorily concluded. With the results, the company hopes to have enough information to evaluate the possible commerciality of the Area”.
