Hotelverse, the digital real estate twin that arrives in Mexico to transform the hotel experience

Transform the room reservation mechanism hotel to turn it into a digital experience is the mission of Hotelverse, a firm of Spanish origin that arrives in Mexico to support the hotel industryespecially the large chains, to offer personalized and more profitable experiences.

The Spanish firm’s proposal is based on a tool that works as digital twinthat is, it replicates the real estate space of a hotel in the virtual world so that the visitor can choose the products and services that suit their needs.

“The guest has the possibility of flying over the hotel and tour it virtually, understanding its value proposition (location, common areas, exterior, surroundings) before the trip. The client acquires a complete knowledge of what he reserves (type of bed, view from the balcony, equipment, area), so he can choose those services that best suit his needs”, said Fermín Carmona, co-founder and general director of Hotelverse.

According to the information provided, for the firm, Mexico is a country with ample potential to expand its business model, due to the fact that there are large hotel chains and it has touristic destinations who are sued by turismo Foreign.

“We are very happy with our arrival in Mexico, considering that it has hotel chains giants and Turistic cities world-class”, added Carmona.

According to the firm’s projections, based on data from the Ministry of Tourism, more than 92.5% of the turismo arriving in Mexico is concentrated in only six destinations: Cancun, Mexico City, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara and Monterrey.

In this scenario, the firm highlights that destinations such as cancun, Los Cabos y Vallarta Port are potential markets for the amount of tourists they receive, which means that hotels have more and better technology to meet demand, even before a room is reserved.

“In the conventional reservation model, the price is the main purchase factor and the website of the hotel it simply acts as one of the many sales channels available to the customer. Hotelverse returns the importance to the variable of the product, through an unparalleled proposal”, highlighted Carmona.

For the firm created in 2021, its digital twin model can also boost the Hotels to join the experience of the metaverse.

Currently, the firm has investors specialized in the hotel industry such as the Iberostar group and investors such as Archipiélago Next, Areyhold, Toni Nadal or Braulio Arsuaga, who is also president of the National Tourism Business Council.

In Mexico, Hotelverse already has a presence in hotel chains such as Park Royal, Intercontinental and Grupo Presidente.
