The Duchess of Sussex has been flying the flag for American brands by opting for local designers and glittering Hollywood jewels during her second pregnancy.
Meghan Markle, 39, who has announced the birth of her daughter Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, has dressed her blossoming bump in flowing designer gowns from some of her favourite American brands and added glamour with sparkling jewels worth thousands.
The royal, who is currently living in her $14 million Montecito mansion having stepped back from duty, has only been seen a handful of times since falling pregnant at the end of last year.
Her wardrobe total has still reached a staggering £67,582, a far and above figure that many women could only dream of.

The calculations include estimates for some of the bespoke creations she has worn over recent months but not all, meaning the actual value could be much higher.
And as Meghan is a fan of re-wearing jewellery, each piece has only been added to the overall total once, although they might contribute to the value of several outfits.
However it is a far cry from the lavish total £514,000 ($675,000) the Duchess splashed out on during her first pregnancy.
During her time as a senior royal, the mother-of-one wore a parade of designer outfits from brands such as Dior, Prada and Chanel and an array of expensive accessories.
She was believed to be in the early stages of pregnancy when she visited Los Angeles cemetery for Remembrance Day in November.
She rarely wore the same outfits twice, selecting new outfits from favourite designers such as Givenchy and Victoria Beckham on almost every appearance.
And she has continued that trend during this pregnancy, opting to dress her bump in flowing gowns and pretty wrap dresses from the most expensive designers in the world.

During an appearance at the CNN Heroes event, Meghan wore a pair of £102 Catherine Zoraida Swallow Stud Earrings.
And in January, while attending a virtual poetry class, she wore the £350 Adina Reyter, Solid Pavé Teardrop Necklace.

She has long spoken of her love for stacking jewellery, pairing Princess Diana’s £17,000 tennis bracelet with a collection of her own favourite pieces.
She also donned a £1,800 Aquamarine Collette Pendant Cord Necklace from sustainable designer Pippa Small and Birks Bee earrings costing £460.
In another segment on the programme, she showcased her own take on ‘back to basics’ style by donning a pair of £2,950 earrings and £415 necklace with a wax jacket and a pair of wellies.
