Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – It is said that happiness does not buy … but there is no doubt that money may be a way to achieve some of it.
Even scientists from Purdue University have put a specific amount that they say can bring happiness in the United States of America: 105,000 dollars a year, indicating that anything that an individual earns above this amount has little effect on the feeling of contentment and happiness.
There is no doubt that comfortable and reliable income alleviates people’s fears and makes life easier, as poverty often causes stress and leaves long-term damages to its owners.
Expenseivity says that the cost of happiness and its scale varies according to where you live, so the site measured the “cost of happiness” for each country in the world, using purchasing power ratios from the World Bank, and then added the local cost of living to calculate the different price of happiness from one city to another around the world.
The report also touched on the cost of happiness in the Middle East, as Israel appeared as the country with the highest happiness cost in the world, with a cost of $ 130,457, followed by Qatar in second place with a happiness cost of $ 75,936.
