How to create images through artificial intelligence?

The artificial intelligence, known by its acronym as AI, is increasingly involved in everyday life. It is used in voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Siri and also in digital marketing campaigns, in order to know when to show the most appropriate ad for each person. At the same time it is used to create images or write texts.

AI is an algorithm that simulates human behavior. That is, it is a technology that certain machines and computers use, based on human action and decision-making, with which it is possible to have the ability to solve problems. It is precisely called “intelligence” because it is based on intelligent computer programs, which use large amounts of data (big data).

Artificial intelligence is directly related to two other important concepts:

• Machine learning (automatic learning)
• Deep learning (deep learning)

Together they create algorithms that are used to make predictions based on big data. Computers, software, and robots create behavior patterns and trends. Due to the large amount of data managed, it is impossible for one person to carry out the processing in a short time and with high efficiency. That is why AI is used.

Artificial intelligence is also capable of creating images from textual descriptions that we give In a couple of minutes, it goes through thousands of web pages to find the elements you’ll need and in the end create an image.

One of the most famous AI programs for creating images is DALL-E. It was released in January 2021. His name is a mix between Wall-E (like the Disney and Pixar animated film) and Dalí, like the painter and sculptor Salvador Dalí. It has a free version called Craiyon (formerly DALL-E Mini).

The creation process in Craiyon, for the person who uses it, is simple and similar to the other tools:

1. Login to craiyon.com
2. Place in the search engine of the tool a phrase or words, either in English or Spanish
3. Click on “draw” and wait less than 2 minutes

Other tools to create images with artificial intelligence are: Latent Diffusion, NeuroGen. The latter has a cost, but it is not receiving new clients for now.

In terms of digital marketing, the images created can be used as content for social networks, as part of an email marketing piece or to illustrate a website. The result obtained can be combined with other graphic design tools such as Canvas or Photoshop.
