Two Australian friends have curated an innovative chin-lifting face mask to help women define their jawline without needing expensive surgeries or fillers.
Despite having no previous business experience, founders Elita Gluscevic, 31, and Stephanie Turzi, 28, launched Dfine World on November 3, 2020.
The product idea sparked after the pair had a conversation about wanting a natural alternative solution to a defined jawline and stumbled across a popular Korean technique.
‘A lot of beauty trends start in Korea and face-slimming masks were one of these trends taking Seoul by storm. They promised a sharper, firmer jawline with no surgery needed – so naturally we had to investigate,’ the pair told FEMAIL.
Within a month of launching the online business, the brand made $19,000 and received support from shoppers around Australia.

The product is designed to give women a more lifted, tightened, defined and smoother jawline in only 30 minutes.
The thin mask uses active ingredients to penetrate the skin – similarly to a sheet mask – and combines the elasticity of the non-woven fabric to help give the added tightening, but the results aren’t permanent.
It also stimulates blood flow to the area and the combination helps tighten, life and define the jaw and chin.
Some of the key ingredients used include glycerine for hydration, hydrolyzed collagen to help add elasticity, vitamin E to moisturise the skin and tartaric acid to improve the texture and reduce signs of aging.
‘It is extremely safe to use, and our ingredients cater to sensitive skin types (both of us have very sensitive skin so this was a must),’ the duo said.
The mask is safe for pregnant women to use, but only for half the recommended time.
Online a packet of three masks is priced at $39.99 and the matching beauty headband costs $18.
Happy customers have shared before and after images online to demonstrate how the natural product works to lift and tighten the jawline
‘It’s an affordable, alternate solution for those wanting a more natural approach to their beauty with the added benefit of great results!’ they said
Both Elita and Stephanie agreed that the mask isn’t a ‘miracle product’ and isn’t designed to provide surgery-level results.

‘One use result can last up to two weeks, however important to note results may vary. Depending on your needs you can wear it once a day or just before a big event.’
Dfine World also has no direct competitors and is believed to be the first brand to bring this technique to the Australian market.
Since launching the brand, Elita had been working as the Head of Marketing in the professional services industry and Stephanie was working as an E-commerce & Marketing Coordinator for an e-commerce company.

The duo are also currently developing another product to launch in future and say they want to offer affordable beauty solutions that cater to all types of women
Over the past five months the brand has made a $55,000 return and the business duo aim to grow the brand further.
‘It’s a pretty phenomenal feeling. So much love and hard work went into launching the brand and to see such positive responses to an unfamiliar and quite strange product was so surreal,’ the founders said.
‘Australians are extremely savvy consumers so naturally this type of product can seem gimmicky, but we did our best to be transparent about the product and its results.’
But developing the product and navigating the business has been a challenge in itself, which Elita and Stephanie described to be a ‘like a roller coaster’.
The duo are also currently developing another product to launch in future and say they want to offer affordable beauty solutions that cater to all types of women.
