(CNN Spanish) — The actress Ana Obregón shared this Wednesday a heartfelt message dedicated to her son Aless Lequio, who died of cancer years ago, after the magazine HOLA! will publish an interview in which the Spanish presents the baby by surrogate pregnancy that she recently had in Miami as her granddaughter, Lequio’s daughter.
“I swore that I would save you from cancer and I failed you. I promised that I would bring your daughter into the world and here I have her in my arms. When I hug her I feel an indescribable emotion, because it is as if I were hugging you again. I swear that I will I will take care with the infinite love that I have to give and you will help me from heaven,” Obregón wrote on his verified Instagram account, where he shares the cover of the magazine.
In HOLA!, Obregón said that the “baby Anita”, with whom he is in Miami, “is the daughter of Aless”. This is how he explained the situation: “When my son was diagnosed with cancer and was going to start chemotherapy treatment, the doctors recommended that he save samples of his sperm, in case the drugs affected him in the future, to make sure he could have children. ”.
