German farmers have organized an innovative campaign to raise awareness of the need for vaccinations against the Corona virus, using 700 sheep and goats.
Photographs and videos documented by Hanspeter show sheep and goats arranging a vaccine syringe approximately 330 feet long, in a field in Schnäverdingen, south of Hamburg.
Organizer Hanspeter Itzold resorted to a nice trick in order to force this huge number to line up in the form of a syringe.
He said in press statements that the procedure was aimed at people who still hesitate to take the vaccine, adding that sheep are beloved animals and may be able to convey the message better, as he put it.
The German government has made the urgent vaccination campaign a top priority, in an attempt to tackle the latest wave of the Corona pandemic.
Reports indicate that the percentage of the population who received at least two doses is 71.2%, while the percentage of those who received a booster dose was 38.9% of the population.
