The house of Argentine striker Mauro Icardi was robbed during the match between Paris Saint-Germain and his host Lorient, on Sunday, for the 22nd week of the French Football League.
The French newspaper L’Equipe reported that thieves broke into the house of Icardi, when the latter was participating in the aforementioned match, and stole items (jewelry, watches, and expensive clothes) worth about 400,000 euros.
The newspaper pointed out that the staff at Icardi’s house discovered the incident of theft the next morning and reported the police.
Icardi had participated throughout the 90 minutes in the Saint-Germain and Lorient match, which ended with the latter winning 3-2, and the Argentine star did not score any goal.
It is noteworthy that theft of the homes of soccer players around the world has become a common and frequent sight in recent times.
