On Tuesday, the Turkish security forces arrested 35 persons of Arab nationality, out of 40 suspects in the capital, Ankara, as part of investigations related to “ISIS”, and they arrested dozens of people during the past days on suspicion of belonging to the organization.
Police have carried out arrest campaigns of Islamist militants in late December of the past two years since a gunman killed 39 people in an Istanbul nightclub on New Year’s Eve 2017, in an attack for which ISIS claimed responsibility.
